Our high-tech Microsurgical Spine Center is integrated with the very latest in communications and peer training technologies including the special conference/training room. Visiting surgeons who want to learn minimally invasive outpatient spine surgery techniques and staff members can see procedures transmitted in real-time from the operating room to the large plasma screen. Observers can zoom-in or zoom-out to view even the most intricate details of the procedures and continually upgrade their skills as new surgical techniques emerge. They can also communicate verbally with the operating theater. Continual internal and external training at the highest levels has been a key ingredient in the Center's success. |
